A Conference on Management Issues- Competing through capability Enhancement was organized on April 02, 2011 by Faculty of Management, Jodhpur National University, Jodhpur

Prof. (Dr.) Navin Mathur Vice Chancellor JNVU, Jodhpur was chief guest for inaugural Function. Mr. Navratan Kansara, MD, Kansara Bearings, Jodhpur was guest of honour. Mr. Shyam Kamal Sharma, Managing partner lotus gums and chemical presided over the function. Prof M.L. Vadera, Dr. Dunger Singh Khinchi M.C. Tater from JNUV, Dr. R.L. Dadhich from Lachoo Memorial Collage, Prof. V.P. Gupta, Dr. B.R. Vyas, Dr. Anil Bhandari, Dr. DK Mehta, Mr. P.C. Mathur, Mr. P.K. Dey, Mr. Shailendra Maheswari ,Shri. M.C. Maheswari and Dr. M.M. Bhattar were present to grace the function.

Chairperson of JNU & patron of conference CA Kamal Mehta graced the Proceedings with their presence, Shri Mehta welcomed all the dignitaries and presented bouquet to chief guest Prof. Dr. Navin Mathur and memento to Mr. Kansara and Mr. S.K. Sharma.

In this one day National Conference four technical session were conducted. The key note speakers were Prof. Dr. L.C. Bhandari, Dr. D.P. Ghiya, Dr. Lalit Gupta, Prof. Meeta Nihlani from JNVU Jodhpur and Mr. Sourabh Bhandari from safenet technologies, New Delhi, In all four session total 85 Papers are submitted for presentation by the delegates. The students of MBA and BBA also submitted their paper in large number. They covered all themes and sub themes related to finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management and I.T.

Consequent to presentation of mementos to all chairpersons and keynote speakers of technical sessions vote of thanks was endorsed by the conference Director Dr. Gaurav Lodha, after which the proceedings of the conference are declared closed.

Faculty of Management organised a one day "Workshop on Jodhpur as CA Mine on Country Map" on 4th March, 2010 to promote the B.Com. course from coming session in which CA Kamal Mehta, Chancellor Jodhpur National University was President of the workshop and CA Kailash Bhansali, City MLA, Jodhpur was Chief Guest , CA Rajendra Saraf, Chairman Jodhpur Branch ICAI was Guest of Honor, CA O P Maheshwari , Secretary CIRC, was Keynote Speaker.

Faculty of Management organised a one day seminar on " Interview Skills on 19th Feb. ,2010 in which Mr. Rahul Shandilya from ICFAI, Jaipur was Key Note Speaker.

Faculty of Management (popularly known as JIM) organises its management festival "BHAVITAVYA" every year. The fest is full of practical games like "Wordsworth" (Puzzle game), "BIZZIQ" (Business Quiz), "Strat Mark" (Marketing Strategy Game). The attraction of "BHAVITAVYA" is stock market simulation game "Reflexes".
