Welcome to the Jodhpur Institute of Law,

From the first day of orientation to final gathering at commencement, Jodhpur Institute of Law will unfold countless opportunities for independent research, writing, role playing and student organised discussion groups on various current topics in order to face the challenges taking place globally in all walks of life.

More than 60 subjects spreaded over five year span will be taught by the choicest full time faculty and scores of visiting and adjunct professors, lawyers, leading legal luminaries, the choices for the study of law at JNU law school will only as limited as one's imagination.

JNU Law School will regularly focus in enhancing the intellectual life of its academic community by sponsoring variety of centers, programmes and workshops. Each center will have a particular focus, such as human rights, corporate law, environmental law, laws related to patents and many more affecting our day in and day out life. The informal workshops will allow our students to discuss emerging ideas in fields as diverse as law and economics, WTO and developing countries, legal reforms in China, Russia and other fast growing economics around the globe.

At JNU law School, we shall make legal education an instrument of social, political and economic change and inculcate in our future lawyers and corporate legal executives a feeling of commitment through high degree of competence, ethical disposition, upholding cultural values and global outlook to face the mind boggling changes taking place in the field of law in the 21st century.

As an institution, we shall play vital role in preparing budding jurists to be innovative and imbibe with robust jurisprudential wisdom. The academic curriculum is designed to constantly match the changing times. The legal system as we see it today is immensely specialized than in the past and the pace of change shows no sign of letting up.
